An Art Listener is a way of being in the world. It describes how I approach art, creativity, consciousness, and the inner wisdom of the human being.
As an Art Listener, I make space for silence and pause to listen. In this context, listening means, above all, being fully present: reconnecting with your own authenticity and truth. It is allowing the mind to let go of control and creativity to be freed from comparison.
Creating can become a highway to inner peace or a platform for authentic self-expression. When a new connection to yourself begins to open, art can surprise you. Sometimes the result is a painting; at other times, it is a profound experience or an insight that may stay with you far longer than any finished artwork.
This listening attitude is present in all my courses and throughout my artistic work. During guided discussion retreats and in my Liberating Conversations by phone, we do not talk about art—we talk about life. To me, life itself is also an art form: something each of us creates every single day.
I guide painting gently and safely, without performance, pressure, or the need to do things the ”right” way. My intention is to support each person in discovering their own inner current and their natural way of expressing themselves.
Art Listener is neither a technique nor a method.
It is a perspective. A way of being present with art—and perhaps, above all, with life and our shared humanity.
The Art Listener philosophy is reflected in everything I do: Liberating Conversations by phone, guided discussion retreats in Fiskars, painting experiences for companies and groups, and my Vedic Art Courses and Listening Painting courses held during the summer.
At the heart of everything I offer are silence and listening to yourself. From that place, creativity, self-awareness, and inner freedom can naturally begin to grow.
